ABSTRACTS

2019 was a year of change for me. I went through deep loss and tremendous growth. I needed to express this through painting but wanted a new approach to that expression. I never would have thought a silly exercise would turn into a new passion. Three years later, I’m invigorated and excited to share these new works with you and the stories behind them. My inspiration behind these works was to use water, both metaphorically and literally, in an abstract fashion, to express something from deep within. Visualizing the ocean is a source of peace for me—I imagine looking down at tropical waters from above, with all types of abstract formations. These works are watercolor mounted on stainless steel, coated with epoxy resin. Each work is mounted on a 1-inch-deep panel.

Please view these pieces with an open mind and heart. Additional pictures can be viewed in my shop.
