The road is where our worlds meet—human and wild. Too often, that meeting ends in loss. This blog began as a place dedicated to raising awareness about roadkill and wildlife safety, sharing research, personal reflection, and art to inspire compassion and meaningful change. Protecting animals on our roads is protecting the wild itself—and that mission remains at the heart of my work.

Alongside The Road Ahead, you’ll now find Cosmic Perspectives—a new collection of writing exploring the vastness of the universe, the wonder of the night sky, and the stories behind my space art. Both paths, grounded earthbound or reaching skyward, share a common thread: a search for connection, meaning, and our place in a world far larger than ourselves.
