Watercolor Abstract Paintings

These abstract watercolor paintings grew out of my fascination with tropical waters seen from above. Thinking about the experience of looking down from the air, I became interested in how depth, shifting light, and underwater formations shape the color and movement of the sea. What began as an expressive exercise gradually developed into a series focused on water’s rhythm, transparency, and quiet energy. Each piece is created with watercolor, then mounted on stainless steel and coated with a glossy layer of epoxy resin, enhancing its luminosity and fluidity. Presented on a sleek, 1-inch deep panel, these works invite viewers to immerse themselves in the serene yet powerful beauty of water from an entirely new perspective.
